Emmanuel F. Pastores
Mr. Pastores’ formal study is Bachelor of Science in Community Development at the University of the Philippines. He is currently serving as Interim Program Manager for World Hope International in the Philippines. He has over 30 years of experience in social development work through various Philippines and international NGOs based in Cambodia such as OTRADEV Foundation (1986-1990), International Institute for Rural Reconstruction (1990-1995), VBNK Management Training Institute for Managers of Development (2000-2004), EveryChild (2005-2007), World Vision (2007-2014), and EDUCO (Fundacion,Educacion y Cooperacion 2015-2016). His program leadership and implementation experiences are on integrated community development, child rights, advocacy, NGO governance, and environmental protection and conservation. Jojo also worked for Ten Knots Development Corporation from 1995-1998 as Manager of the Environment and Community Development Unit.
Jojo did consulting work with various international and local NGOs as well as bilateral and multi-lateral agencies in Asia such as CARE International, International Women’s Development Agency, CIDSE, Oxfam Hong Kong, Plan International, Save the Children, World Vision Cambodia, World Bank, DANIDA, and the European Commission.
Jojo also has experience working on the Board of Cambodian NGOs. He has been volunteering as on-call technical advisor to El Nido Foundation since 1998 in areas of program development planning and management, staff capability building, organization development, government-NGO linkaging, community development, implementation strategies, and integrated conservation and development management.
Jojo lived in Cambodia for almost 18 years and currently awaiting to move to England with his family. He is married to Esther Pastores nee Surrage from Sussex, England. They have a 14-year old son named Samuel Philip.
