Victor A. Francisco
As Manager of the Environment and Community Development Unit of Ten Knots Development Corporation in 1994, Mr. Francisco was responsible for the setting up of the Environment and Community Development Program of the company which aims to abate environmental degradation while addressing the socio-economic needs of the host communities through sustainable resource management in cognizant of the area being a Marine Reserve. He went on to serve as Resident Manager of Pangulasian Island Resort from 1994-1997, with the resort receiving prestigious awards for environmental management, before joining Philex Mining Corporation in 1997 as Vice President for Environment and Community Relations.
Mr. Francisco obtained his Bachelor of Science degree, major in Community Development, from the University of the Philippines – Diliman Campus. He then pursued and finished his Masters in Environmental Science and Management at the University of the Philippines (Los Banos). He has also undertaken advanced studies on Strategic Business and Economics from the University of Asia and Pacific, and has masteral units in Public Management from the University of the Philippines.
Mr. Francisco has served as a Trustee of Philex Group Foundation, Inc. since 2014.
